Every storyline is checked first — topics, words and slang. If something isn't right for a children's book we say so politely and ask the young author to think again, rather than quietly leaving it out.
The AI works to strict rules: no romance, no swearing, nothing sexual, no drugs or alcohol, no serious violence and no politics. Adventure, mystery, spookiness and real jeopardy are all encouraged.
Every finished book is read by our automatic checks and approved by a person. Anything flagged as a concern is investigated by a human before the book goes anywhere near a printer.
Photographs are used only to draw a likeness into your story. They are never kept between visits and are deleted once your illustrations are drawn.
