Terms & Conditions — Storywizard

By using Storywizard and placing an order, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully. These terms form a legally binding contract between you and Wizardtec Ltd.

1. About Us

Wizardtec Ltd operates the Storywizard service at storywizard.uk.

2. The Service

Storywizard is a platform that allows users (“you”) to submit story concepts, character descriptions and creative ideas, from which Wizardtec Ltd generates a personalised children’s book using artificial intelligence and has it professionally printed and delivered.

Orders must be placed by a parent, guardian or responsible adult aged 18 or over. By confirming the age verification at checkout, you confirm you meet this requirement.

3. Orders and Payment

All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. Free standard UK delivery is included on all orders. Tracked delivery is available at an additional charge.

Payment is processed securely by Stripe. Wizardtec Ltd never stores or has access to your card details.

Your order is confirmed when you receive an order confirmation email. This confirmation constitutes a binding contract between you and Wizardtec Ltd.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including where we believe content submitted is inappropriate, offensive or in breach of these terms.

4. Personalised Goods — Right to Cancel

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have a 14-day right to cancel most purchases. However, personalised goods that have been made to your specification are exempt from the right to cancel once production has begun.

Storywizard books are bespoke personalised products created specifically for you. Once we have begun writing and illustrating your book (following payment), your right to cancel is limited. If you wish to cancel before production has started, please contact us immediately at help@storywizard.uk.

5. Delivery

We aim to deliver all orders within 14 days of payment. Delivery times are estimates and not guarantees. We are not liable for delays caused by our printing or postal partners.

Delivery is to UK mainland addresses only unless otherwise stated. If your order has not arrived within the estimated delivery window, please contact orders@storywizard.uk with your order reference.

6. Refunds and Quality Guarantee

We are committed to the quality of every book we produce. If your book arrives damaged, defective, or significantly different from what you ordered, we will reprint and redeliver it free of charge.

Please contact orders@storywizard.uk within 14 days of receiving your order with your order reference and a description of the issue. We may ask for photographic evidence of any defect.

Refunds are not offered for dissatisfaction with the AI-generated content where that content accurately reflects the story details you provided.

7. Acceptable Use

You must not submit story content, character descriptions or ideas that are:

Offensive, abusive, defamatory, discriminatory or hateful
Sexually explicit or inappropriate, particularly any content involving minors
In breach of any third party’s intellectual property rights
Designed to impersonate a real person without their consent
Unlawful in any way under English law

We reserve the right to refuse to process any order containing such content without refund.

Wizardtec Ltd owns all copyright in the written stories, illustrations, cover designs and all other content generated through the Storywizard service.
The Storywizard name, brand, logo and platform are the exclusive intellectual property of Wizardtec Ltd. Unauthorised use is strictly prohibited.
Books are created for the personal, non-commercial use of the purchaser only. Reproduction, redistribution, resale or commercial exploitation of any Storywizard book or its contents is strictly prohibited without prior written consent from Wizardtec Ltd.
You retain ownership of the original ideas, character concepts and story outline you submitted. By submitting this content, you grant Wizardtec Ltd a worldwide, royalty-free licence to use it solely for the purpose of creating your book.
Wizardtec Ltd may use anonymised, non-identifiable examples of its work for marketing and promotional purposes. We will always obtain explicit consent before using any image of a child or any personally identifiable content.
Any attempt to copy, reproduce, reverse-engineer or commercially exploit Storywizard’s AI generation processes, systems or outputs is a breach of these terms and may constitute a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wizardtec Ltd’s liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the order in question.

We are not liable for any indirect, consequential or special losses, including loss of earnings, loss of data, or disappointment with AI-generated creative content.

Nothing in these terms excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer, you may also have the right to use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform or contact Citizens Advice for assistance.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last revised. Continued use of Storywizard after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
