You can ask us to delete the data we hold about you or your child at any time. This page explains exactly how, and what happens next.

We only need enough to find the record and be reasonably sure the request is genuine. Requests about a child's data must come from the parent, guardian, or the school that placed the order.

We do not store card or payment details. Payments are handled entirely by Stripe, and we never see or keep your card number.

There is no charge.
Please read this before you ask.
Deleting the story and cover is permanent. You will no longer be able to reorder the book, and we will not be able to send you another copy of the story or certificate. If you want to keep them, download or save them first.
Once a book has been printed and posted, we cannot recall or destroy it. The physical copy is yours. Deletion applies to the data we hold, not to books already in the world.
If a book is still being printed when you ask, tell us immediately and we will cancel it if we can.
In a small number of cases the law requires us to keep some information even after a deletion request:
Where this applies we will tell you what is being kept and why. Everything else is deleted.
Where a school has placed a batch order, the school is the data controller for the pupil data it supplies, and Wizardtec Ltd is the processor. Deletion requests about pupils should be made by the school. Parents may contact us directly and we will pass the request to the school and act on it.
Storywizard uses a small number of services to run. When we delete your record we instruct the relevant provider to do the same.

Lulu holds the print file and delivery address for as long as its own retention policy requires, in order to fulfil and, if necessary, reprint the order.
If you have interacted with our Facebook Page or Instagram account, that data is held by Meta under Meta's privacy policy, not ours. Use the tools in your own Facebook or Instagram settings to remove it. We hold no personal data from those platforms beyond what is publicly visible on the posts.
